Starting a Small Business class
The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Kaskaskia College will host a “Starting a Small Business in Illinois” workshop on Monday, Oct. 29, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Workforce Center, 325 S. Poplar St. in Centralia.
Topics to be covered include: how to develop a business plan and a marketing plan; and how to get organized and maintain records.
Other topics will include: determining the form of your business organization; and legal and financial basics.
The fee for the non-credit class is $10, and pre-registration is required. Call 545-3429 to register.
At least six people must register for the workshop to be held, and the registration deadline is one week prior to the class.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) at Kaskaskia College is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and Kaskaskia College as a service to Illinois small businesses.
