JV squad wins 33-0

The Vandalia junior varsity football squad picked off four passes, returning two of them for touchdowns, in opening its season with a 33-0 win at Greenville.
Ryan Ambuehl and Dalton Wehrle returned interceptions for scores in the win.
The Vandals’ other scores came on a run by Alex Newsom, who added a two-point conversion, and a pass from Tim Ritchey to Levi Carroll.
Carroll and Wade Cowger also picked off passes in the win..
The JV squad travels to Carlinville next Monday for a 5 p.m. game.
