Junior Vandals win Pana Tournament

Vandalia won the seventh-grade Pana Tournament, defeating Shelbyville, 41-21, last Thursday to claim the title.

The Vandals were led in the Shelbyville game by Deven Peebles, with 18 points. Matthew Hagy scored six, and Cayden Hipsher had five points.
In the opening game of the tournament, Vandalia defeated Central A&M, 52-27. Peebles had 20 points and Aiden Politte scored 10.
In their second game, the Vandals defeated Meridian, 43-24. Peebeles led with 16 points, and Hagy at 9 points.
The Vandals were undefeated at 3-0 going into the game against Hillsboro on Tuesday.

The Vandalia Junior High School squad won the seventh-grade Pana Tournament last week, defeating Central A&M (52-27) and Meridian (43-24) before beating Shelbyville (41-21) on Thursday night.
