Jr. Lady Vandals still above .500

The Vandalia eighth-grade girls basketball team is still above .500 despite a 1-2 mark in recent game.

On Tuesday, the Jr. Lady Vandals (10-8) lost at Hillsboro, 35-17.

Emma Meyer led in scoring with 10 points.

Madison Klanke added four and Mikayla Ruot scored three.

It was the second loss to Hillsboro on the season.

Last Thursday, Vandalia picked up a 35-10 win against Greenville.

Meyer had 14 points to pace the Jr. Lady Vandals, and Anna Miller added seven and Ruot added six.
