IPA Award Recipients

The Illinois Principals Association-Kaskaskia Region recognized supporters of education and the IPA at its 16th annual Member Awards Dinner in April in Hillsboro.

The Kaskaskia Region includes the counties of Bond, Clinton, Fayette, Macoupin, Marion and Montgomery. Area award recipients are shown in the above photos. In the first photo is Vandalia Elementary School Principal Stacy South, who received the NAESP Distinguished Elementary Principal Award. In the second photo are Carla Jourdan-Heern and Leslie Cole, both of the Patoka School District; Jourdan-Heern received the Kaskaskia Region Innovative Education Award, and Cole received the IPA Herman Graves Award, as well as being recognized as a past region director. Cole was elected to serve as the region secretary for the coming year.
