Hosick Motors of Vandalia helped raise $1,400 for Vandalia Elementary School through Chrysler’s “Drive for the Kids” program.

In that fundraising event, 140 participants earned a $10 contribution for the school from Chrysler for taking a brief test drive in a Town & Country mini-van. Hosick Motors supplied the vehicles, and volunteers from the dealership were on hand to assist with the fundraising drives.
“The ‘Drive for the Kids’ program is a mutually beneficial program,” said Jason Knight, sales manager. “We’re pleased to support our local schools, and enjoy demonstrating a terrific, world-class product. Parents are genuinely interested in testing the mini-van, with all the advanced safety, technology and economy features, and we are happy to help raise extra dollars for the school. We all work together for the kids. Everyone has a great time.”
