Holiday activities set for the weekend

The holiday season kicks into high gear in Fayette County this weekend with a number of activities.
Christmas in St. Elmo
St. Elmo’s annual holiday event on Friday evening gets under way with the lighting of the city Christmas tree at Fourth and Main streets at 6 p.m.
The evening includes music, carriage rides, food and a gift certificate drawing, and Santa will be available for photos.
Breakfast with Santa
Soroptimist International of Vandalia bring back a popular holiday event this Saturday morning.
