Great passing helps VJHS 8th-grade girls top South Central

The Vandalia eighth-grade girls basketball team was in a sharing mood Monday night.

And thanks in large part to the team's pass-first approach, the Junior Vandals cruised to a 26-8 victory over South Central at VJHS.

Vandalia wound up recording assists on 10 of its 11 field goals. Amber Bruno was especially fond of setting up teammates - particularly Hannah Edwards - as four of her team-high five assists came on Edwards buckets.
