Students enrolling in a career and technical education program at Kaskaskia College may be eligible for services through Carl Perkins Grant funds.
All students receiving Perkins assistance must be eligible for federal financial aid.
Eligible students must fit into one of the following classifications: economically disadvantaged, disabled, non-traditional, limited-English proficient, single parent or displaced homemaker.

Services available include: partial textbook reimbursement; partial assistance with transportation costs; uniform cost assistance for non-traditional students (i.e., males in nursing or females in carpentry); partial daycare assistance for single parents; stress management workshops; study skills workshops; and specialized tutoring services.
