Genealogical Society to publish family history book

The Fayette County Genealogical Society (FCGHS) has voted to sponsor the writing and publishing of a book length history of Fayette County families.
The primary content of the book will be family histories.
Each Fayette County family will be asked to write a historical sketch not to exceed 500 words. This sketch and one photo will be published free.
Additional text will be charged at 15 cents per word and photos will cost $15 each.
The book will also include a general county history.
