Blood Drive
Giving blood doesn’t require much time. About an hour should do it. You can help save up to three lives in about an hour.
The need is ongoing but the supply is not.
A blood drive will be held at the Country Store (Menonite Store on the St. Peter/Shobonier blacktop) from 1-7 p.m. Monday, March 23.

Baptism
Mason Lee Guerrettaz, son of Zachary and Sara Guerrettaz, was baptized on Sunday, March 15, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Mason’s godparents are Calie Guerrettaz, Sam Stock, and Lauren White.
Card Shower
A card shower has been requested for the 95th birthday of Velva (Schaal) Fisher on March 22. Cards may be sent to: Velva Fisher, 2106 Brian St., Vandalia, Ill. 62471.
Community Benefit
Friends and family of Kevin and Jeaneane Jenne Family are hosting a weekend benefit to help them financially on April 25, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and April 26, 1-6 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran School Gymnasium. It will include a coed volleyball tournament (hree men and three women), barbecued pork, hot dogs, chips, baked goods, a silent auction, bake sale and 50/50 drawing.
Donations are welcome.
