St. Peter has someone that we are very proud of!
Three-year-old Seth Bergmann is being credited for saving his grandfather's life.
On Monday of last week, Seth was spending the morning with his “PaPa,” Glenn Bergmann, when his grandfather suddenly collapsed.
When Seth realized he was unresponsive, he ran six blocks (barefoot) to his Aunt “Nettie’s” house for help.
When Seth discovered that his aunt was not at home, he then ran into the local tavern and told them he needed help.
His grandfather was taken by ambulance to the hospital and was treated for extremely low blood sugar and later released.
The outcome would have been much different if Seth had not been there that day.
Seth is the son of Lynn and Stacey Bergmann of St. Peter. He will be four years old this Friday.
Veteran’s Day Service
St. Peter’s Lutheran School hosted a Veterans Day honor service on Wednesday, Nov. 10, and invited area veterans to attend.
Sixteen area veterans were in attendance – two from World War II, four from the Korean War, eight from the Vietnam War, one from the Gulf War, and one peace-time veteran.
