Congratulations to Brett Harmeier for being named to an area all-star basketball team.
His team will be playing a team made up of players from the Oil Belt Conference at Odin Jr./Sr. High School on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
The area all-stars are made up of players from surrounding schools that are not part of the Oil Belt Conference. Brett is the son of Dan and Kari Harmeier of St. Peter and a student at St. Peter Lutheran School.
Attend Birthday Celebration
Dane, Belinda and Mahala Harpster of St. Peter attended the seventh birthday party of Madison Eller on Saturday at LeBounce in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
On Saturday evening, Mitch and Gretchen Harpster hosted dinner. Among those attending were Dane, Belinda and Mahala Harpster, Natalie Newsome, Carolyn Stein, Cleve, Rhonda and Heidi Hunter, and Nathan Jacquin.
Attend Visitation
Belinda and Mahala Harpster attended the visitation of Ryan Potter on Sunday evening in rural Kinmundy.
St. Peter Church
Sunday morning worship attendance was 159. Acolyte was Haley Bergmann.
The organist was Scott Gercken. Elders were Allen Magnus and Sherman Hunt.
Midweek Lenten Services will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. Dinners will be served before each service, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
