Wins Golf Tournament
Dru Eller won the Gateway PGA Jr. Series Event of the Year at the Cape Country Club on Friday, July 17.
Dru finished the season with two third-place finishes, one second-place finish and three first-place finishes, which qualifies him for the end-of-the-year tournament at Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton.
Dru is the 13-year-old son of Ben and Amanda Eller of Jackson, Mo., and grandson of Dane and Belinda Harpster of St. Peter, and Ron and Diane Eller of Salem.
School Registration
Registration for St. Peter’s Lutheran School has been set for: Monday, July 27, from 3-7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 28, from 8 a.m.-noon; and Wednesday, July 29, from 3-7 p.m. Preschool registration (the financial part) will also take place in the school office this year. Preschoolers will finalize with Ms. Angie. Enter the school at the main doors. It is pertinent to come to registration, even if they preregistered.?
St. Peter’s Lutheran Church
The pastor was the Rev. Ryan Meyer. Saturday evening worship attendance was 53; Sunday morning worship attendance was: 8 a.m. service, 52; and 10:15 service, 55. The organist was Jan Mendonca. Kevin Wodtka and Jay Rothe were attending elders.
