Story Worth Telling
Some of you may remember a story published a few years ago, about my Godson, Seth Bergmann, who saved his grandfather’s life by running several blocks and getting help.
Well, he again has done something worth telling. He turned 5 back in November, and he received money (from myself and several others) instead of a gift.
After several failed promises to take him shopping (myself included), he told his mother he wanted to go shopping with his birthday money – grocery shopping.
He went to a local grocery store and bought canned goods and grocery items, and took them to the local food bank.
He decided he didn’t really need anything, and he figured there were some people who might need something more than he did.
Pretty impressive for a 5-year-old! I’m very proud of this little guy with a big heart.
