Two Golden Anniversaries
Mr. & Mrs. Earl Magnus and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Williams will be celebrating their golden wedding anniversaries on Sept. 4.
Earl Magnus and Hazel Koss were married 50 years ago at Zion Lutheran Church in Altamont. On the same date, Robert Williams and Janet Kruenegel were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Shobonier.
The two couples hosted a joint anniversary celebration held on Aug. 21 at the Vandalia Lake Shrine Club pavilion, with a host of family, neighbors and friends in attendance.
A meal was served, and the evening was spent visiting and dancing to the music of Hit Line Productions of Vandalia.
Family and friends left having enjoyed the evening, and gave their best wishes to the couples.
