Friedel files objection to Goggin's petition

A week after Dan Goggin filed documents trying to get back on the ballot as a Republican candidate for state's attorney in Fayette County, Democrat incumbent Stephen Friedel filed an objection to those documents.

Friedel filed on Friday an objection to the Greenville attorney's nomination papers, arguing that Goggin could not fill a vacancy on the ballot because there wasn't a legal vacancy to be filled.
