FNB Hometown Support Recipients

First National Bank of Vandalia, Ramsey, Patoka, Mulberry Grove and Greenville recently held its 20th annual Hometown Support Program Luncheon, presenting checks to a number of area organizations.

Joining FNB President Ernie Chappel and Marketing Director Ali Stombaugh were: Bob and Marlys Hayner, Vandalia Caring & Sharing; George Meseke, Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95; Bob Alstat, Vandalia Lions Club; Joelyn Collins, Tools for School; Lynn Gartke, Vandalia Rotary Club; Sandra Leidner, Fayette County Habitat for Humanity; Linda Kelly, Reading Is FUNdamental; Mary Harrington and Sherry Hawkins, SAFE; Ed Taylor, Vandalia Volunteer Fire Department; Janet Wise, CEFS Food Pantry; Phil Shroyer, Historical Vandalia Inc.; Arlene Rosenberger, Ramsey Senior Citizens; Mariann Timmermann, Vandalia Historical Society; Wietse Schaafsma, Operation OUTING; John Ashdown, Family YMCA of Fayette County; Todd Ehlers and Jacob Rau, FFA adviser and president; Tom Lucken, Field of Dreams; Mary Schulze, Kaskaskia College KICK Program; Melanie Schaafsma, Friends and Families of Fayette County Hospital; and Cheryl England, Soroptimist International of Vandalia. Also receiving checks were OUR PLACE, Downtown Merchants Co-op, Ramsey Caring and Sharing, Second Chance Animal Rescue and Lighthouse Pregnancy Center.
