Flowers, Lindberg honored with Abe Awards

Two men who have made significant contributions to the Vandalia area received Abe Awards from the Vandalia Chamber of Commerce on Thursday night.

The awards, presented at the chamber’s annual banquet, were given to businessman Tony Flowers and FAYCO Enterprises executive director Bob Lindberg.

 Also at the banquet, outgoing chamber president Ben Timmermann passed the gavel to incoming president Greg Starnes.
