An Illinois Department of Natural Resources air boat was used to rescue a man whose truck was washed off the road by flooding south of Bluff City on Tuesday morning. Fayette County Sheriff's Deputy Sheri Miller took this photo, which shows Sheriff's Deputy Ed Durbin and DNR officer Chad Compton rescuing the man. Miller said the man was pulling a trailer with his truck south of Hickory Creek when flooding forced the trailer, and then the truck, off the road.
