Five charged with cooking meth with youth present

Five individuals, including three Brownstown residents, were charged with aggravated participation in methamphetamine manufacturing after a raid on a Brownstown residence last Tuesday evening.

Those who have been charged with the Class X felony, which carries a penalty of up to 60 years in prison and a fine of up to $400,000, are:

• Betty L. Jackson, 47, 446 S. College St., Brownstown.

• Glendal F. Jackson, 47, 446 S. College St., Brownstown.

• Patricia N. Barron, 18, 446 S. College St., Brownstown.
