FCH names top employee, leader of year

At the Fayette County Hospital annual employee holiday and service awards dinner, held on Dec. 17, two employees were recognized for their exemplary performance during 2010.
Abby Harre has worked at Fayette County Hospital for 33 years, and was named 2010 leader of the year for her leadership as manager of Food and Nutrition Services.
One year ago, the hospital faced significant financial concerns and experienced reductions in staff and wages. Since then, the hospital’s finances have turned around, said Greg Starnes, the hospital’s CEO.
