FCH joins 'Raising the Bar' hospital initiative

Fayette County Hospital has become a participant in a new quality initiative established by the Illinois Hospital Association.
The program, called “Raising the Bar,” is an initiative to raise the level of health care quality and make Illinois a national leader in quality care and patient safety.
Greg Starnes, chief executive officer of FCH, indicated that the hospital has pledged to share best practices and implement new methods to prevent and reduce infections and other complications and unnecessary hospital readmissions.
