The Summer Nationals were held at Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown last Friday night, and a pair of track records were set.
In the first qualifying group in the late model class, Tyler Reddick set a record with a time of 12.349 seconds. He would place third in the A-main race after winning qualifying heat No. 1.
Drivers in the late models are driving on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, and the champion in the 40-lap feature race was Ryan Urzicker of El Paso, Ill,. who is third in the series point standings.
