Family YMCA dedicates building with road races

More than 40 people participated in four running/walking events Saturday morning – the first events to be held at the new facility of the Family YMCA of Fayette County.
Among the events that were contested were the 10K run (men and women), 5K run (men and women), two-mile walk and a one-mile run.
In the 10K, Erin Schaub of Brownstown defeated all runners, finishing in 42:10. Runner-up on the women’s side was Allison Mueller of Neoga. For the men, Roger Hill was first in 51:27 and Rick Myers was second in 55:39.
