ExxonMobil Annuitants

The ExxonMobil Annuitants Club met on July 30 in Litchfield at Maverick Restaurant, with 24 members and three guests present.
President Dean Black welcomed everyone, followed by the pledge to the flag. David Poe gave the blessing for the meal.
After the meal, Black called the meeting to order.
The secretary and treasurer report were read and approved. Birthdays and anniversaries for July were read.
Laura Mulhern had completed a brochure that included everything about the club, and each couple or member was given one.
Black thanked her for the work and time she put into doing it.
Junior Williams gave a report on his Honor Flight trip to D.C. on May 12, telling of all the many things they did and saw. The flight and trip was completed in one day. Everyone enjoyed hearing his story of the full day he spent with other veterans.
Williams’ son, Warren, took the trip with him. Williams is a member of Brownstown VFW Post 9770. Black thanked Williams for sharing this special day with club members.
Next month’s meeting will be in Vandalia at the Ponderosa Steakhouse on Aug. 27.
A representative from ExxonMobil Retiree Affairs in Houston will be at this meeting, and Black encouraged everyone to attend. If there is something that members would like answered, they could let him know and he could give them a thumbs up on different things that the group would like to know.
The club will be paying for the members’ meals.
Guests present were Cindy Bertinetti, Jane Hammond and Bradley Schwarm. Members present were Dean and Elloise Black, Wayne Buck, Harry and Betty Craddick, Frank and Carolyn Heigert, Carolyn Johnson, Karl Kozak, LaVerne Laux, Cy and Lorene Locke,  Dick and Barb Lounsbury, Dick and Barb Mottershaw, Mike and Laura Mulhern, Tom and Nancy Neunaber, David Poe, Jim Sprayberry, and Junior and Betty Williams.
