The ExxonMobil Annuitants held their monthly meeting and luncheon on Thursday, July 29 at the Ponderosa Steakhouse in Vandalia, with 24 members and four guests attending.
Those guests were Jane Hammond, and Kenneth and Angela Hagen and their granddaughter, Ashley Hymes.
Following the pledge of allegiance, Brock Fisher asked the meal prayer. After the meal, President Dean Black opened the meeting with the welcome.
Secretary and treasurer reports for June were read and approved. Birthdays for July were read. 
It was announced that the meeting in October will be held in Litchfield at the China Town Restaurant.
Humorous readings were read by Carolyn Johnson and Elloise Black, and Ashley Hymes had one that she asked her grandmother to say for her.
The next meeting will be on Aug. 26 at the same location, with the club paying for the meal. Since there was no other business, the meeting was adjourned.
