Lacey Durbin and Jacob Nalley, both of Vandalia, have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The future bride is the daughter of Kent and Teresa (Harre) Durbin of Vandalia. She is the granddaughter of Anna Harre and the late Thureal Harre Sr. of Brownstown, and Mary Lou Durbin and the late Derald Durbin of Vandalia.
She is a 2007 graduate of Vandalia Community High School and a 2012 graduate of Rockhurst University with a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
The future groom is the son of Rick and Chris (Carmen) Nalley of Vandalia. He is the grandson of Gary and Linda Carmen of Harrisonville, Mo., the late Richard Nalley of Vandalia and the late Rita Gaskill of LaFayette, Ind.
He is a 2006 graduate of Vandalia Community High School and is currently employed as a machinist/programmer at Pyramid Marble and Granite in Effingham.
The couple are planning a Sept. 8 wedding at Brownstown Christian Church.
