Drewes-Jones

Mallory Jillian Drewes and Nicholas Curtis Jones have announced their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride is the daughter of Andy and Karla Drewes of St. Peter, and the granddaughter of Harriet Roberts of St. Peter and the late Stan Roberts of Farina, the late Delbert Drewes of St. Peter, and the late Joe and Alliene Traub of Dieterich.
She is a 2007 graduate of South Central High School and a 2011 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with a bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences with an emphasis on CT/MRI.
She is employed at Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo.
The future groom is the son of Curt and Gena Jones of Kinmundy, and the grandson of Bill and Janice Jones of Altamont, the late Mary Jones of Kinmundy, and Richard and Ruth Ford of Salem.
He is a 2004 graduate of South Central High School in Farina, and a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, with a bachelor’s degree in aviation technologies with an emphasis in advanced aircraft maintenance.
He recently graduated from the U.S. Navy Officer Training School in Newport, R.I., and has been designated as a naval aviator. He is stationed at NAS Pensacola, Fla.
The couple are planning a July 13 wedding at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Peter.
