Donation to Golden Circle Nutrition

The Woodmen of the World Lodge 561 recently donated a refrigerator to the C.E.F.S./Golden Circle Nutrition Program (GCNP) in Vandalia. Above, Debbie Weber (right), GCNP director, receives a cash donation from Cyndy Montgomery, vice president of community outreach. Over the past year, Vandalia GCNP has served more than 13,000 meals to seniors. C.E.F.S./GCNP offers meals to individuals 60 years of age or older. The suggested donation is $2.25 for meals at the nutrition site and $2.50 for home delivered meals. Reservations are needed at least one day in advance to reserve a meal.
