Tracee Ann Curtis and Timothy Allen Largent, both of Vandalia, were married in a ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on March 16, 2013, at Bethel Baptist Church in rural Vandalia, with the Rev. Dan Rush officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Rollin and Cynthia Wilson of Vandalia, and the groom is the son of Gerald and Vicky Largent of Vandalia.
The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a Maggie Soterro mermaid-style dress with a strapless sweetheart neckline, and beading and appliqués throughout.
Her bouquet was a mixture of lavender roses, eggplant calla lilies and eggplant carnations.
She chose a friend, Joetta Yarbrough of Vandalia, as her matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were: Cinde Ward of Vandalia, friend of the bride; and Sara Farmer of Belleville, sister of the groom. Macy Largent, daughter of the groom, served as a junior bridesmaid.
All of the bridesmaids, including the junior bridesmaid, wore different styles of floor-length eggplant gowns.
Kambell Henry of Lebanon, a friend of the bride, was the flower girl, and Cole Yarbrough of Vandalia, a friend of the bride, was the ringbearer.
The groom chose a friend, Chris Matthews of Vandalia, as his best man. Groomsmen were Tug Sampson and Darrell Hankins, both of Vandalia and both friends of the groom.
Ushers were Clif Lamb of O’Fallon and Runt Manley of Vandalia, friends of the groom.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and reside in Vandalia.
The bride provides in-home daycare, and the groom is employed through Operating Engineers Local 520.
