The Fayette County Board’s plans to act Tuesday on a request for a liquor license had to be canceled at the last minute because of a message from Vandalia officials.
When it came time to act on a liquor license request from Steve and Michael Mabry, county board Chairman Steve Knebel addressed a group of about 25 county residents who were on hand to speak out against that request.
