County, city help Rural King with move

-A A +A
By Rich Bauer, Managing Editor

The Fayette County Board and Vandalia City Council took action within the past week to help Rural King move from its current home into the former Orgill building.

The county board voted last Thursday to allow the county to serve as a vehicle for a revenue bond issue, and the city council approved two zoning issues on Monday night.

The county board approved a resolution expressing its intent to designate the county as a recovery zone under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009.
