County board will vote on E911 referendum

The Fayette County Board is scheduled to vote Thursday night on putting an Enhanced 911 referendum on the November ballot.

The Enhanced 911 committee formed by board Chairman Steve Knebel late last year is asking that the county board put the issue on the ballot.

That committee has recommendation a monthly phone bill surcharge of $2.75 per line.

A report on the Thursday meeting will be given on our Web site and in next week's issue of The Leader-Union.
