South Central is off to a hot start, Tuesday night, the Cougars picked up a 12-2 win over Clay City, in five innings.
Ryan Gesell got his first win of the season, going five strong innings, striking out 12. Although he sat down a dozen, he had trouble at times with finding the strike zone and walked seven.
Ian King was 3-for-3 on the night, driving in three runs and scoring three times himself.
Shane Donoho reached base three times, twice via walk and on a run scoring triple.
Dylan Sill was 2-for-2 with two runs batted in.
