Coroner’s Report

The following report was submitted by Fayette County Coroner David Harris to the Fayette County Board for his June activities.
Harris said that he handled one death in the home of a Fayette County resident and went with a local officer on two occasions to notify next of kin of the death of a relative.
In June, Harris' office issued nine cremation permits, received six hospice admittance notifications and received seven hospice death notifications.
The June revenue for cremation permits was $450.
Harris said that he logged 147.5 hours in June, not including handling hospice and other coroner-related calls.
