? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20  p.m., and the meeting is at 7 p.m. For more information, contact Donna Morell at 423-2916.
Friday, April 22

? The Fayette County Knights of Columbus will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry at 5 p.m. at the Mother of Dolors Parish Center. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-11, and it includes drinks and dessert. It is open to the public, and those presenting a church bulletin or this calendar entry get 50 cents off the cost of their meal.
Saturday, April 23

? A Fayette County Relay for Life yard sale and bake sale will be held from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the parking lot of OctoChem, 2090 Wagner St., Vandalia. Items on sale will include new and used children's and adults' clothing, toys, furniture and domestic items. Lunch will be served, beginning at 11:30 a.m., the cost being $5 a plate. Tickets will be sold for a variety of raffle items, including donated basket items and Cardinals/Cubs tickets.
? Cleanup day will be held at 9 a.m. at Pilcher Cemetery. Those participating are to take working materials.
? The Banking for a Cure Relay for Life team will hold a cookout from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the parking lot of National Bank, 520 W. Gochenour St., Vandalia. The cost of the meal is $5. Tickets for a 50/50 raffle will be held, with the drawing to be held during Relay for Life on June 4.
? Brownstown First Christian Church will host the community's annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. at Brownstown Park. The egg hunt is for ages 2-12. Prizes will be awarded in several age categories, and each child will receive candy.
? The Shoal Creek Chapter of ABATE will hold a Fallen Riders Hog Roast at the Vandalia Lake Club. The event will include dinner from 5-8 p.m., live music by "Crazy Horse" at 9 p.m., prize drawings, auction and 50/50 drawing. Tickets are $6 in advance from ABATE members and $7 at the door; children age 10 and under will be admitted free of charge.
? A country music dance and potluck is held from 7-10 p.m. every Saturday at 202 W. Madison St. in Ramsey (the former Baptist Church). Admission is $5.

? The Vandalia Lions Club will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. in Ruemmelin Park on West Fillmore Street.
Monday, April 25

? The Vandalia Lions Club will meet at Days Inn. The executive committee meets at 5:15 p.m., and the regular club meeting is at 6 p.m.
? The Fayette County Republican Women's Club will meet at 7 p.m. in the basement of the downtown branch at First National Bank in Vandalia.
Tuesday, April 26

? The Vandalia Rotary Club will meet at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a lapsit story time at 6 p.m. at the library. The theme is "Here Comes Peter Cottontail."
Wednesday, April 27

? The Fayette County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold a free breakfast and informational session on the new Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program at 8 a.m. at the Fayette County Farm Bureau building on Sunset Drive in Vandalia. Those planning to attend should contact the Fayette County SWCD office, 283-1095, ext. 3.
? TOPS IL 2020 will meet at 5:45 p.m. in the Fayette County Hospital conference room. Weigh-in is from 5-5:40 p.m.

? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Vandalia Correctional Center for VCC employees.
? Brownstown Elementary School will hold a kindergarten open house and pre-registration from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
? Vandalia Main Street will hold an open house from 6-8 p.m. in the banquet room at Holiday Inn Express to thank Dana Whiteman for her years of service as the Main Street executive director. Refreshments will be served.
