eoe’ The Vandalia Main Street Program will hold its fourth annual Women’s Day Out. It begins with brunch from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Vandalia Statehouse, and continues with shopping at downtown businesses, which will have special activities. The event will conclude with lunch at downtown eateries, with special menus for participants.

eoe’ A fundraiser for Vandalia’s post-prom activities will be held at Vandalia Pizza Hut from 5-9 p.m. When ordering, customers saying that they are supporting the fundraiser will have 20 percent of their bill go to post-prom.

eoe’ The Kaskaskia College concert choir and community chorale, under the direction of KC Director of Choirs Mike Register, will present a concert of sacred and secular choral music at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Vandalia. Joining the choirs will be the Vandalia Community High School chorus, under the direction of Thomas Rasler. The concert is free and open to the public.
