UM-St. Louis College
of Optometry
Lacey Leann Feezel of Brownstown is among the May graduates at the University of Missouri-College of Optometry.
While a student at the college, Feezel was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, 2010-13; American Optometric Student Association, 2009-13; Student Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity, 2009-13; and National Optometric Student Association, 2010-13.
She plans to join an optometric practice in Effingham.
Feezel, the daughter of Clint and Laura Feezel of Brownstown, earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville.

Illinois State University
Frederick Dylan Krueger was among 2,245 undergraduate students at Illinois State University who earned placement on the dean’s list for the spring semester.
Criteria for being on the dean’s list included grade-point average, which places the student among the top 10 percent of students majoring within an academic college at Illinois State.

Maryville University
Megan Korte of Mulberry Grove was among the students on the dean’s list for the spring semester at Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo.
Korte is a student in the university’s John Simon School of Business.
Lake Land College
At the 2013 Lake Land College associate degree in nursing pinning ceremony, 52 graduating nurses received their pins.
During the ceremony, those honored included Hope Campbell of Brownstown.
