Calvin Vaughn Wagoner of Palastine was among the fall graduates at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville on Dec. 15.
Wagoner, who earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, has accepted an engineering position in Highland.
He is the son of Don and Michelle Wagoner of Palastine, and the grandson of Wayne and Sandra Lovett of St. Elmo, and the late Don and Marjorie Wagoner, formerly of Palastine.

McKendree University
Julie Brasel, a senior from Shobonier, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at McKendree University.
