City needs Christmas tree

The city of Vandalia is in need of a large evergreen tree for a community Christmas tree.

The city is asking for a tree that is 20-25 feet in height. It will be placed near the intersection of Seventh and Gallatin streets.

If you have a tree that you are willing to donate, contact city hall, 283-1196.
