Lesters' concert is July Fourth

The Lesters of St. Louis will appear in concert at the Fourth of July  celebration at Lake Hillsboro. They will perform at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Often called the "first family of gospel music," the Lesters have been singing together for more than four generations. The group includes Brian Lester, Ginger (Lester) Pitchers and Jonathan Lester.
In case of rain, the concert will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Hillsboro. For more information, call Laura Sturm at (217) 532-3734.

Concert-dinner is Saturday

Rehoboth Baptist Church Camp will hold a concert-dinner fundraiser from 4-8:30 p.m. this Saturday at the camp.
Dinner will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Christian artists Lexi Perkins, FourGiven Quartet, Andy Whitten Band and Ambassadors of Grace will be performing.
A love offering will be taken.
Those planning to attend are asked to take a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
The church camp is located four miles north of Vandalia on U.S. Route 51, with signs to be on the west side of the highway.
In the event of rain, activities will be moved to the Vandalia Junior High School gym.

Patriotic musical this Sunday

A patriotic musical, "I Love This Land," will be performed at First Baptist Church in Brownstown this Sunday at 2 p.m.

Patriotic Gospel concert July 7

A patriotic gospel concert will be held in the Farina City Park on Saturday, July 7, in conjuction with the Independence Day celebration.
The concert, hosted by John and Judy Roberts, will include the FourGiven Quartet of Vandalia and the Shepherdsmen Quartet from Woodlawn.
The concert will begin at 4:30 and conclude at 6:30 p.m. on the stage in the Farina park.
Those attending the concert are asked to bring lawn chairs.
