Easter morning schedule is announced by Bethel Baptist
Bethel Baptist Church will hold a full morning of activities this Sunday as it observes Easter.
The schedule includes a sunrise service at 8:15 a.m., a breakfast at 9:15 a.m., an Easter egg hunt at 9:50 a.m., Sunday School at 10:15 a.m. and a musical program called "Redemption: The Power of the Cross," presented by the church choir at 11:15 a.m.
Christ Tabernacle in Herrick plans special Easter program
Christ Tabernacle will present a special Easter program titled "A Beautiful Exchange" this Sunday at 10 a.m.
Following the service, a helicopter Easter egg drop will be held at 11:30 a.m.

Metro Community Church of Vandalia will hold two services on Easter morning. The first will be at 9 a.m. and the second will be at 10:45 a.m.

Garage sale planned for April 26 at Liberty Christian Church
Liberty Christian Church in rural Brownstown is planning a garage sale on Saturday, April 26, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Proceeds from the sale will benefit the programs for young people at the church.
A dollar bag promotion will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Gospel sing at American Farm Heritage Museum on April 26
A gospel sing will be held on Saturday, April 26, at 6 p.m. at the American Farm Heritage Museum in Greenville.
Performing there will be The Liberty Belles from Columbia, Mo., and Sons of the Father from West Frankfort. Included in the group are Les Snyder and his two sons, Chris and Brent.
Dave Ramsey's 'Financial Peace' course now at FUMC
A nine-week course designed to help individuals and families gain control of their finances is now underway at First United Methodist Church.
The class will be held each Wednesday or Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Called Financial Peace University, the course features taped lectures by Dave Ramsey.
