? A pancake and sausage fundraiser for the Golden Years Club will be held at 7 a.m. at the Golden Years building, located just south of First Christian Church on U.S. Route 40.
? Four Mile Christian Church will celebrate its 175th anniversary at 2 p.m. The church is located off of Ill. Route 185, south of Brownstown, at County Road 1517 N. 1500 St.
? Marcoot's Jersery Creamery's CheeseFest 2019 will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at 526 Dudleyville Road, Greenville.

Sunday, June 2

? The Evans Cemetery annual meeting will be held at 1 p.m. at the cemetery. Those attending are asked to take lawn chairs.

Monday, June 3

? The Fayette County Health Department's grief support group meets from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the health department, 416 W. Edwards St., Vandalia.
? The Vandalia Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? Fayette County Mothers of Preschoolers meets at 6:30 p.m. in the back room of the St. Elmo Public Library. Mothers of children ages newborn to kindergarten-age are invited. Snacks and child care is provided.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, June 4

? A  Christian Ladies Breakfast Club meets at 9:30 a.m. at Denny's in Vandalia. Those who wish may purchase breakfast. For more information, contact Faye Watson, 267-8487.
? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? The Fayette County Hospital Auxiliary meets at noon in the conference room at the hospital. Auxiliary scholarships will be presented at this meeting.

Wednesday, June 5

? The Greater Fayette County Chamber of Commerce meets at noon in the Lincoln Room at Ponderosa Steakhouse.

Saturday, June 8

? A benefit for 8-year-old Mason Feltner will be held at 2 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Mason, a third-grader at Brownstown Elementary School and the son of Sherry Sidwell and John Feltner, was diagnosed with T-cell acture lymphoblastic leukemia in February of this year. The benefit includes a meal of pulled pork barbecue or hot dog with chips, cole slaw, macaroni and cheese, baked beans and dessert, with the cost being $8 for ages 10 and up, and $6 for ages 2-9. The benefit includes gun raffles, live and silent auctions, cake walk, quilt raffle, 50/50 drawing, DJ and children's activities.
