It includes music by Van Waylon Band at 9 p.m. on Friday; Blessing of the Bikes at 8:30 a.m., annual Ride for Rights at 9 a.m.; field events at 1:30 p.m., bike show at 5 p.m. and music by Bad Weather Band at 9 p.m. on Saturday; and church service at 9 a.m. on Sunday in the pavilion. The Saturday schedule includes Prairie Days 5K registration at 7 a.m. and race at 8 a.m., tractor pull registration at 9:30 a.m., lunch at the city park at 11 a.m., tractor pull at 11:30 a.m., bean bag tournament registration at noon, parade at 1 p.m., sand volleyball tournament, bluegrass music by Fire Box, cake walk at 4 p.m., pedal tractor races, threshing demonstration, supper from 5-8 p.m., the national anthem by Kyla Hall at 6 p.m. and music by Feudin' Hillbillys at 8:30 p.m.

? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 2-6 p.m. at the American Legion Community Center, 301 W. Madison St., Farina.
? Northside Christian Church is beginning to offer a homework assistance program for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. ? Bingo will be held at 7 p.m. at the Vandalia Eagles Club, 112 N. Sixth St. Those attending are asked to take non-perishable food items for Fayette County Outreach. The Eagles is also accepting new stuffed animals, for use by the Vandalia Police Department.

? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a Fantastic Friday at 4 p.m. Children up to age 10 are invited to listen to stories and make an alien spaceship. Registration is required; to register, call the library, 283-2824.
? The Brownstown-St. Elmo Sports Boosters will hold an all-you-can-eat fish fry from 4-7 p.m. in the Brownstown Elementary School cafeteria. The menu includes walleye, mini-shrimp, chicken strips, potato salad, steak fries, cole slaw, applesauce, baked beans and drinks. The cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children ages 12 and under. The fundraiser includes a basket raffle, 50/50 drawing and silent auction.
