? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m. and the meeting is at 7 p.m.
? A NAR-ANON meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia. The group meets to: learn that drug abuse is an illness; encourage addicts to seek help; replace despair with hope; improve the family attitude; help individuals regain self-confidence.
Friday, Oct. 23

? Bingo is held at the American Legion Home, 321 S. Seventh St., Vandalia.
? "Hospital of Horrors," a haunted house created by the Vandalia Swimming Pool staff, will be open from 7-11 p.m. at the former Washington School on South Eighth Street. The cost is $6, and the proceeds will go to the Vandalia Swimming Pool renovations.

Saturday, Oct. 24

? The annual FAYCO Enterprises Book Fair will be held from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. All proceeds benefit client services. The Vandalia Moose Lodge will also be holding its pancake breakfast that morning.
? Diamond in the Ruff, an organization benefitting community baseball and softball programs in Ramsey, will hold a hog roast fundraiser from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Fillmore Lake. The menu includes pulled pork, green beans and potato salad. Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children ages 12 and under in advance and $10 for adults and $5 for children at the door. A cornhole tournament will be held; the entry fee is $20 for two-person teams.
? Thy Crystal Draconem will be holding a LARP (live action role play) demonstration from 1:30-5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees may participate with signed waivers.

Monday, Oct. 26

? The Vandalia Lions Club meets at America's Best Value Inn. The executive board meets at 5:15 p.m., and the meal and regular meeting are at 6 p.m.
? Bingo will be held at 7 p.m. at the Vandalia Eagles Club, 112 N. Sixth St. Participants are asked to take non-perishable food items for Fayette County Outreach and stuffed animals to be used by the Vandalia Police Department.
? The Fayette County Hospital District Board of Directors meets at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital conference room.

Tuesday, October 27

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? The Vandalia Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. at the district's administration center.
? Rainbow Reflections, a local grief support group, will meet from 6-7 p.m. in Wesley Hall at First United Methodist Church, 127 N. Fourth St., Vandalia. Those planning to attend the meeting are asked to contact Mary Miller at 292-5366.

Wednesday, Oct. 28

? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a story time at 4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited.
? The Vandalia Eagles Aerie and Auxiliary meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Eagles Club, 112 N. Sixth St.
