? Farm Credit of Illinois will host a crop insurance winter meeting from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., with lunch to follow, at the Carriage House Event Center in Altamont.
? The Vandalia Park District Board of Commissioners meets at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Okaw Area Vocational Center on the Vandalia Community High School campus.
? CenterPointe Church, located at 1616 Veterans Ave. in Vandalia, is holding free Weekly Fit Club sessions at 6 p.m. every Thursday.
? TOPS IL 1872, Ramsey, will meet at the Christian Church in Ramsey. Weigh-in is at 6:20 p.m. and the meeting is at 7 p.m.
? A NAR-ANON meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia. The group meets to: learn that drug abuse is an illness; encourage addicts to seek help; replace despair with hope; improve the family attitude; help individuals regain self-confidence.

Friday, Jan. 15

? Bingo will be held at the American Legion Home in Vandalia.

Saturday, Jan. 16

? A fundraiser for Mary Grace Crawford Stuckwisch will be held from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Mother of Dolors Parish Center, Seventh and St. Clair streets, Vandalia. It will include homemade desserts, silent auction, 50/50 drawing, large garage sale and T-shirt sale. For more information, call 267-7226.

Sunday, Jan. 17

? The Holy Cross Lutheran Ladies Society will hold its annual chili soup luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. (or until all soup is gone) at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 726 W. Fillmore St., Vandalia. Free-will offerings will be accepted. The menu includes homemade chili and chicken noodle soup, barbecue, chicken salad sandwiches, grilled hot dogs, homemade pies.desserts and beverages. Carry-out service will be available at the east parking lot of the church.
? The annual Fun Fair supper and auction will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran School in St. Peter. It includes food and games from 3:30-5:30 p.m., with an auction to follow at 6 p.m. The meal will include chili, chicken noodle soup, barbecue, hot dogs and desserts. Free-will donations will be accepted. A raffle is being held with cash prizes ranging from $50-$500. Babysitting will be provided during the auction. The event benefits St. Peter's Lutheran School and Little Saints Preschool and Daycare.

Monday, Jan. 18

? The Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? A meeting to plan activities and programs at the Brownstown Branch Library will be held at 6 p.m. at the library. The meeting is open to the public, and volunteers are needed to staff the library. Anyone interested in volunteering at the library should call 427-3761.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, Jan. 19

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa.
? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from noon-6 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. The blood drive is sponsored by the Vandalia Rotary Club, with assistance from the Vandalia Woman's Club.
? Rainbow Reflections, a local grief support group, will meet from 6-7 p.m. in Wesley Hall at First United Methodist Church, 127 N. Fourth St., Vandalia. Those planning to attend the meeting are asked to contact Mary Miller at 292-5366.
? The Vandalia Board of Education meets at 5 p.m. at the district's administration center.

Wednesday, Jan. 20

? The Fayette County Board of Health will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the board room at the Fayette County Health Department, 416 W. Edwards St., Vandalia.
