? Evans Public Library's Teen Advisory Board meets at 4 p.m. Teens interested in joining the board should contact Shawna Sprague at the library, 283-2824.
? Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 will hold bingo at the Legion Home, 321 S. Seventh St. in Vandalia, beginning at 7 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.

Saturday, December 3

? The Vandalia Leo Club, which is the youth affiliate of the Vandalia Lions Club, will hold its inaugural all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 6-10 a.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. Those attending are asked to take old eyeglasses, keys, hearing aids and inkjet printer cartridges. Proceeds will be used hearing aids for local residents and also to purchase a bell and banner for the club.
? Soroptimist International of Vandalia is holding "Breakfast with Santa" from 8-10 a.m. at St. James Lutheran Church, 727 W. Gallatin St. The cost is $5 per plate, and the menu includes all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, and juice, milk or coffee. The event includes photos with Santa, with each child receiving a goodie bag. Tickets for the annual Soroptimist Christmas tree raffle will be available, with Santa drawing the winning name at the end of the breakfast.
? The Ramsey Music Boosters' Holiday Bazaar will be held at Ramsey Schools, beginning at 9 a.m. Admission is $2, with children ages 12 and under admitted free. The bazaar features 14 vendors, and each one is offering a door prize.

Sunday, December 4

? "Christmas in St. Elmo" will be held in downtown St. Elmo. It included a parade at 5:30 p.m., with lineup beginning at 5 p.m. at St. Elmo Christian Church; free carriage rides from 4-5:30 p.m. and 6-7 p.m.; lighting of the city Christmas tree at 6 p.m. and visits with Santa at the firehouse.

Monday, December 5

? The Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? Fayette County Mothers of Preschoolers meets at 6:30 p.m. in the back room of the St. Elmo Public Library. Mothers of children ages newborn to kindergarten-age are invited. Snacks and child care is provided.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, December 6

? A caregiver adviser with Heartland Human Services will be available from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Evans Public Library in Vandalia. To make an appointment, call 1-217-347-7179.
? Fayette County Hospital Auxiliary volunteers will be treated to a Christmas brunch at 10:30 a.m. at the hospital.

Wednesday, December 7

? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a story time at 10 a.m. Children of all ages are invited.
? "Dillards, A Style of Christmas" to benefit the Fayette County Hospital Auxiliary will be open from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday in the hospital's community room. To be available are handbags, clothing, fragrances, shoes, toys, cosmetics, gift items and Christmas items.

Thursday, December 8

? "Dillards, A Style of Christmas" to benefit the Fayette County Hospital Auxiliary will be open from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. in the hospital's community room.
? The Vandalia Park District meets at 4:30 p.m. in the conference room at the Okaw Area Vocational Center.
