Friday, February 2

? Bingo is held at Crawford-Hale American Legion Post 95 home. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and bingo begins at 7 p.m.
? A Nar-Anon meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 1845 W. Jackson St., Vandalia.

Saturday, February 3

? Evans Public Library in Vandalia will hold a Groundhog Story Saturday at 10 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to listen to stories and make a craft.
? A Vandalia Community High School mass pep band will perform at the home varsity boys basketball game against Wesclin. It will include 25 seventh- and eighth-grade band members, VCHS alumni and current students not enrolled in band. The band will perform between the JV and varsity games, and at halftime of the varsity game.
? The Vandalia Volunteer Fire Department is holding a fundraiser at Capitol View Restaurant from 4-9 p.m. on Saturday. Firefighters will work as waiters and accept tips as donations. Raffles will be held and food specials are planned.

Monday, February 5

? A Christian Ladies Breakfast Club meets at 9:30 a.m. at Denny's. It is open to all women interested in Christian fellowship.
? An American Red Cross blood drive will be held from 2-6 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church Parish Hall in St. Elmo.
? The Fayette County Health Department Hospice grief support group meets from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the health department, 416 W. Edwards St., Vandalia.
? The Women of the Moose meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Moose Lodge.
? Fayette County Mothers of Preschoolers meets at 6:30 p.m. in the back room of the St. Elmo Public Library. Mothers of children ages newborn to kindergarten-age are invited. Snacks and child care is provided.
? The Vandalia City Council meets at 7:30 p.m. at city hall.

Tuesday, February 6

? The Vandalia Rotary Club meets at noon at Ponderosa Steakhouse.
? A Caregiver Connection seminar will be held from noon-1 p.m. in the conference room at Evans Public Library, 215 S. Fifth St., Vandalia. The group is open to all caregivers needing informational or emotional support.
? The Grandparents/Relatives Raising Children Support Group meets from 1-2 p.m. at Evans Public Library in Vandalia. The support group meets monthly and provides support, education and access to additional resources, including financial assistance.

Wednesday, February 7

? The Vandalia Moose Lodge will not hold bingo until Wednesday, March 14.

Thursday, February 8

? Evans Public Library's Homeschool Group meets from 1-2 p.m. Anyone interested in joining the group should contact Shawna Sprague at the library, 283-2824.
? The Vandalia Park District Board of Commissioners meets at 4:30 p.m. at Evans Public Library.
