Buzzer beater

A buzzer beater by Jered Cain on Saturday gave Patoka a 48-46 win over West Hancock in the Quincy Notre Dame Shootout and Warriors’ coach Joey Eddy his 200th career win on Saturday.
Cain scored 22 points and teammate Garrett Belcher added 17 to lead the Warriors, who led 14-12 after one quarter, but were down by three, 28-25, at the half.
Down by two heading into the final quarter, Patoka outscored West Hancock by four in the fourth to get the win.
Patoka – Webb 0 1-2 – 1; Belcher 7 0-0 – 17; O’Brien 3 2-2 – 8; Cain 10 2-5 – 22. Totals, 20 5-9 – 48.
Three-point goals – Belcher 3.

Patoka jumped out to an 18-3 lead after one quarter and breezed to victory against Sandoval last Friday.
The Warriors held a huge 38-10 lead at halftime and 55-17 lead after three quarters.
Garrett Belcher scored 27 points to lead Patoka, and Jered Cain and Bailey O’Brien each added 12 points.
